Fabric rosette tutorial

Cut your strip of fabric to be about an inch wide, and as long as you want it. It should be at least a foot long. The longer the fabric strip, the larger your flower will be.
Tie a knot at the end of the strip.
Twist the strip of fabric, and start winding it around the knot. If you wind it tighter, it will give a very different look than if you wind it loosely. I like the look of both.
Secure the fabric every inch or so, with hot glue or thread.
Add a cute rhinestone, button, or bead for an embellishment, or keep it plain!
You can add a clip on the back to make it into a hair piece, or attach it to a headband.
They’re also very cute on clothing, purses, pillows, you name it!

  1. This turned out great! I have been looking for a fairly simple flower to use for a project I am working on. I need a zillion flowers and this looks like an easy solution!!
